Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to common questions about appointments, results, preparation, and more.

Walk-ins are welcome for most routine lab tests. For specialized tests or imaging, we recommend booking an appointment to ensure minimal wait time and proper preparation guidance. You can book online or call us.

Fasting means no food or calorie-containing drinks (only water) for usually 8–12 hours before your test. Overnight fasting (e.g. nothing after 10 PM if test is at 8 AM) is typical. We will specify when you book or in your preparation sheet.

Many routine tests (CBC, blood sugar, kidney/liver function) are reported same day or within 24 hours. Culture and some specialized tests may take 2–5 days. Your report will indicate the turnaround time, and we can notify you when results are ready.

Results can be collected in person with ID, sent securely by email, or viewed via our patient portal (where available). Use the reference number on your receipt to track status online.
